Four generations later, that spirit is still alive

At the close of the 19th century, a flow of inhabitants from the mountainous regions of La Rioja ventured into the valley in search of better horizons. In this context, Catalina Martínez chose to leave her peaceful village in the hills to settle in Uruñuela, immersed among vineyards and at the heart of the wine region of La Rioja Alta.
