Tempranillo 100%, 60 years vines.
Own vineyards located in Uruñuela and Cenicero. Yield: Medium 39Hls/Ha. Manual harvest.
Traditional destemming 100%.
Controlled 25-28ºC. Maceration for 16 days with automatic pumping-over.
16 months in French barrels and American barrels of no more than 4 years. Racks each 4 months. Bottled March 2014.
Winter with storms and hard rain, also snow, cool spring, dry summer, no treatment of the vineyards, very good for the grapes due to the natural production.
Colour: Deep intense colour garnetwith single and purplish tones.
Nose: aromas of great intensity and persistance, nothing the ripeness of its grapes and the elegance of its woods. Aromas of ageing in barrel vanilla and cinnamons spices and minerals. Very good ageing in bottle.
Palate: wine of remarkable body, nice creamy and velvety. Round tannins and complex mineral component. Include balsamic and spices.
Storage: Dark places
