Red D.O. Ca. Rioja First week October : D.O.C Rioja, Tinto.

GRAPE VARIETY:

50% Tempranillo, 50% Garnacha

VINEYARDS:

Own vineyards located in Uruñuela, and Cenicero. Medium yield: 40 Hls/Ha.

FERMENTATION:

Traditional elaboration. 100% destemming. Controlled temperature 27ºC - 29ºC

MACERATION:

With skin for 25 days. Daily pumping over.

MALOLATIC FERMENTATION:

It starts in steel deposits following in barrels.

AGEING:

9 mmonths in French barrels. Racking each 3 months.

VINTAGE:

Rainy winter. Soft spring. Powerful budding. Fresh summer. Healthy grapes reducing fertilizers treatments.

TASTING NOTES:

  • Colour: Intense ruby red color.
  • Nose: Intense and complez. Tints of ripe plums. Red ripen fruit. Vanilla tints, toasted notes.
  • Palate: Well-balanced. High quality ripens tannins. Elegant lenght, cacao, coffee and red fruits notes.

RECOMENTATIONS:

Storage: Dark places. Temperature 16ºC.

FOOD PAIRINGS:

Red meat. Roasted and grilled food. Smoked cheese.
